AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR TECHNICIAN
Air Conditioning, Brakes & Alignment Specialist
Objective: To prepare graduates for entry level positions in the automotive repair industry as an
air conditioning, brake and alignment Systems Specialist.


COURSE OUTLINE

  • Air Conditioning Theory and Operation South Coast AQMD Certification Preparation, Testing and Certification on-site
  • Heating and Air Conditioning Systems
  • Types of A/C Compressors
  • Chrysler, Ford, GM and Import Systems
  • Braking Theory and Operations
  • Braking Systems
  • Anti-Lock Braking Systems
  • Caliper and Rotors
  • 5 Wheel Alignment
  • Wheel Bearing Theory and Operation
  • Wheel and Related Components
  • Suspension System and Tools

Course Length
500 Hours - 20 Weeks

Classes are held in Anaheim,
Monday through Friday
Mornings
9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
Afternoons
1:30 P.M. to 6:30 P.M.
Evenings
6:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M.

Course costs include books, supplies, course materials
& State licensing application and testing fees.

The California Projections of Employment, published by the Labor Market, states that opportunities for jobs are better for those mechanics possessing State licenses to
service smog, brake and lamp systems.

Automotive Technicians are in high demand. The U.S. Department of Labor, in its last report, indicated that primary areas of specialization will be more in demand.
