OUR PHILOSOPHY
Over the years, California Career School has developed and maintained close working relationships with employers and various funding agencies such as the Workforce Investment Act, Vocational Rehabilitation, the Employment Development Department and the Veterns Administration to assist individuals seeking training and employment. Our reputation for quality service and a high success rate has been acknowledged by numerous training and placement awards. California Career School programs have proven, time and again, to provide dedicated men and women with the knowledge and skills demanded by today’s job market.
California Career School is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges and approved by the Council for Private-Post secondary and Vocational Education. The Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency.
SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY
We believe our training should respond to the needs of industry by preparing men and women alike with “hands on” training directed toward practical applications. Students are supervised by qualified, experienced instructors and will have the opportunity to train with modern equipment commonly used in the industry.
Along with a comprehensive curriculum, California Career School has established a policy of school discipline and protocol that provides a no-nonsense learning environment. This is done to better assure our graduates will be prepared with the kind of “work ethic” that is so highly valued.
ADMISSIONS POLICY & PROCEDURE
Prospective students are invited to interview with one of our admissions representatives. During the interview, the representative will detail the course content, discuss the school’s philosophies as well as inquire of the applicant’s career goals to better determine if California Career School’s program can meet that need. Included in the interview will be an entrance exam, a tour of the school and a thorough review of the applicant’s employability following training.
Upon evaluation of the entrance exam results and the admission officer’s recommendations, the prospective student’s application will either be accepted or rejected.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Various agencies offer tuition paid training to students who qualify. California Career School also offers financing. See Agencies on our Tuition Assistance page.
