Front of Truck
Standing in front of truck:

I will check the overall condition of my vehicle for damage.

Starting at the top and working down, I will check my clearance lights to see they are secure, clean, the lenses are not cracked or broken, they are amber in color, and they work.

I will check all other clearance lights on my vehicle in the same way, except that lights in the rear should be red.

I will also check all reflectors are secure and clean, not cracked or broken, and are amber in color except in the rear they are red.

I will check the windshield is clean, not pitted, no holes or cracks or other damage to the glass, no illegal stickers, no obstructions, and that the rubber seal is in good condition and not leaking.

I will check that my windshield wiper arms and blades are secure, not damaged, have good arm tension and good rubber, and that they operate smoothly.

I will check my headlights to see that they are secure, clean, the lenses not cracked or broken, they are clear in color, and that they work on both both high and low beams.

I will check my turn signal lights, both left and right, to see they are secure, clean, the lenses are not cracked or broken, they are amber in color, and that they work.  I will check all other turn signals on my truck in the same way, except that lights on the rear of my tractor and trailer should be red.

I will check under the vehicle for any loose or hanging wires, hoses or belts.

I will check under the vehicle for fresh oil, coolant, grease, or fuel leaks.
