I will check the shock absorber is not bent, cracked or broken, has good rubber seal top and bottom, is secure and not leaking.

I would look for missing, shifted, cracked or broken leaf springs.  If more is

I will check the spacers, saddle block, and U bolts that they are not missing and are mounted securely.

I will check my hangers and shackles have no missing bolts, are mounted securely, and are properly lubed.

I will check my steering arm is not worn or cracked and it has it’s castle nut and cotter pin.

I will check the castle nuts on my vehicle to see they are secure and not missing their cotter pin.

I will check the tie-rod is not bent, worn, or cracked.

I will check my air brake hose that it is not cracked, worn, or leaking and it is mounted securely.

I will check the brake chamber that it is not cracked, dented, or leaking and it is mounted securely. 

I will check the slack adjuster and push rod are not broken, loose, or missing any parts. Movement by hand should be less than 1 inch in the front, 2 inches in the rear.
