Rocky P

At 59 years old, I decided to try and return to truck driving after 18 long years. as a veteran I sought out help with funding. when funding was approved, it was for California Career School’s Oceanside Facility. I then quickly set up the appointments and went about completing all the paperwork. I pushed to start on the following Monday, and immediately became a pain in the butt for the ladies, (Maryanne, will testify to this, lol), in Anaheim. At first I had my doubts, with the teaching technique. And was without a doubt Richard’s “problem child” for the duration of the course. But, by applying myself, 100%, to learning and memorizing everything. I am hear to tell you today, that I graduated with high scores, but was able to excel even better when I made the trip to DMV…I relaxed, and did everything I was taught, to perfection, the first time. I like to brag that I A’ced both the Skills, and the Road Tests. But , with that said, credit must be shared and given to all the instructors that put up with me and stuck with me, Richard Henry, Donnavan, and Brandon. All these guys deserve credit for my success. THANK-YOU… Sincerely, Rocky Pettengill…
